Human Trafficking Resource Database

A browsable database has been developed by teams at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill’s Carolina Women’s Center. The database includes bibliographic information that will help researchers, students and community activists to identify and locate a variety of resources relating to human trafficking, including:

  • Governmental and NGO Reports
  • Scholarly articles
  • Chapters in compilations
  • Edited compilations and scholarly texts
  • Investigative reporting and magazine exposes
  • Personal narratives
  • Fiction
  • Studies, guides and training handbooks

In addition to text resources, the database also covers multimedia resources, including films, documentaries, and news reports. All items in the database can be used to raise awareness about human trafficking. Live links and brief descriptions are included to aid users in selecting titles.
